About BACCO-DMV
BACCO-DMV is one of the most active Chapters of BACCO-USA (Bambui Cultural Community in the USA).
It was formed shortly after the Foundation Conference creating BACO – USA held on August 18th-20th, 2006 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The main goal of the group was to create a home away from home for all sons and daughters of Bambui living in the Washington Metro Area, thus the name BACCO-DC. This name was modified in 2023 to BACCO-DMV, in order to better reflect the well known local appellation of Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Our vision
We firmly believe that the key to enhancing future opportunities and outcomes in Cameroon lies in today’s education. BACCO USA is committed to improving access to quality education and healthcare in rural communities. Our focus is on supporting disadvantaged children, orphans, and families in achieving their educational aspirations, while collaborating with existing educational and healthcare systems and local community leaders.

At BACCO USA, we are driven by hope and the conviction that we can positively impact the lives of underprivileged individuals in Cameroon. Our mission is to promote and support charitable initiatives aimed at assisting impoverished mothers and orphans through the provision of food, medical supplies, and opportunities for a brighter future via education and healthcare in rural areas of Cameroon.
